I keep thinking of creating a “what were you thinking recruiter” blog. Some of my highlights:

* Email in all CAPS because it such an AWESOME OPPORTUNITY!
* Spelling error on important technology terms
* Indicating you are a “friend” on linked in.
* Calling me at work

Yeah, I learned early on that the only way to get anything out of VorIzon was to either walk into their mall store (not an more convenient, stand-alone, ‘authorized dealer’ store), or call them.

But hey, how many brains can you expect from someone who doesn’t know the difference between their & they’re?

Mike, are you sure that the password reset emails weren’t phishing emails themselves rather than the response of the actual site to password reset requests with your email?

Are you sure you were really at PayPal’s real website when you went to report this and put your login details in?

I hate PayPal’s customer service. They gave me a world of trouble because I *dared* use my PayPal account from the US, instead of only from Israel where I first created it. In the end, they told me to break their own license agreement and create a US account for myself alongside my Israeli one. I had to demand that they put a note on both accounts about this, just in case they decide to block either or both of them for breaking the agreement… e.e

For some of us who cannot build tangible things (cabinets, cars, motorcycles, or a great meal), programming, or software development is the creative outlet. Programming, at times, seems like a battle between the developer and the computer. The programmer trying to bend the computer to his/her will, and the computer being very reluctant to bend.

Thanks, and it makes sense to worry.
In the heated environment, one may tend to push harder than they should – some guy yesterday told me about how he popped his knee by overextending it during one pose.
So I’ll try to be careful.
